Content of the files:

"STH-net_DEM.flt" digital elevation model of the Schäfertal hillslope site, 1-m resolution.

"STH-net_Coordinates.txt" tab-delimited, contains the geographic coordinates (WGS 84 / UTM zone 32N) of the instrumented soil profiles (named "P1" to "P8"), monitoring wells (named "WELL1" to "WELL8"), soil temperature profile probes (named "T02","T04" and "T06") and of the weather station (named "METEO").

"STH-net_Soils.txt" tab-delimited, contains the information about profile (1 to 8) and depth of installation of the TDR probes (named as "T01" to "T66"). For every probe, the estimated grain size distribution (i.e., sand %, silt % and clay %) and the bulk density are provided. Note: Probe "T58" does not exist thus the STH-net consists of 65 TDR probes in total.

"STH-net_Meteo.txt" tab-delimited, contains the hourly values of the meteorological variables measured at the weather station. DateTime in the format {mm/dd/yy HH:MM:SS} from January 1st, 2019 to September 30th, 2020.

"STH-net_SoilWaterContent.txt" tab-delimited, contains the hourly values of volumetric soil water content [m3/m3]. DateTime in the format {mm/dd/yy HH:MM:SS} from January 1st, 2019 to September 30th, 2020.
The headers of the data columns refer to the probe name (column 1 of the file STH-net_Soils.txt).

"STH-net_SoilTemperature.txt" tab-delimited, contains the hourly values of soil temperature [°C]. DateTime in the format {mm/dd/yy HH:MM:SS} from January 1st, 2019 to September 30th, 2020.
