BIOM_M	Annual measurement of above ground biomass of monocotyls (M) production in alpine grassland.	In 2017 three vertical transects (S3_OB1: 1x8m, S3_OB2: 1x8m], S3_OB3: 1x9m) have been set up near the cliamtic station S3. Since then after every vegetation period we harvested the annual aboveground biomass production. At every station 3 parallel transects have been set up (A,B and C). Most samples have been taken from transect C at all 3 stations. In case the transect C was not suitable (due to moss cover or rocks) we used transect A or B. These transects are further devided into 8 (or 9) plots of 1x1m, which are further devided into 4 subplots (a,b,c,d) , to prevent areas beeing sampled twice within a period of a few years.	At all three stations (S3_OB1, S3_OB2, S3_OB3) we sampled an area of 20x20cm for every plot of one of the transects (A, B orC). To do so we selected an area not already sampled in the years before and without moss or lichen cover or rocks. From the sampling area (20c20cm) then all the aboveground biomass has been cut and harvested and transportated to the lab in paper bags, indentified with the corresponding plot-ID. The samples have been stored in the lab in a fridge at 0° to 1°C, until the wooden part od the harvest was removed. Samples the were dried, classified in dicotyls, monocotyls and dwarf shrubs and afterwards weighted. kg*m-2
BIOM_D	Annual measurement of above ground biomass production of dicotyls (D) in alpine grassland.	In 2017 three vertical transects (S3_OB1: 1x8m, S3_OB2: 1x8m], S3_OB3: 1x9m) have been set up near the cliamtic station S3.
