ETMC ensembles - One configuration only
Description
In this dataset we provide a single configuration of various ensembles produced by the Extended Twisted Mass collaboration (ETMC). These configurations contain gauge fields of Lattice Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) simulations. The simulations are performed on a four-dimensional hypercubic lattice using the Twisted Mass formulation as a lattice discretization of the Dirac operator and having periodic boundary conditions in space and antiperiodic in time.
The configurations are provided for benchmarking and testing purposes. They cannot be used for any observable calculation as they are only one out of thousands configurations of an ensemble generated with a Markov Chain Monte Carlo approach.
Table of contents
- cA2.09.48 is a N_f=2 configuration at the physical pion mass with lattice spacing of approximate a=0.09 fm and lattice size of L=48 in space and T=96 in time. - cA4.60.16 is a N_f=4 configuration at heavy pion mass with lattice spacing of approximate a=0.09 fm and lattice size of L=16 in space and T=32 in time. - cB211.25.24 is a N_f=2+1+1 configuration at heavy pion mass with lattice spacing of approximate a=0.08 fm and lattice size of L=24 in space and T=48 in time. - cB211.25.32 same as cB211.25.24 but lattice size of L=32 in space and T=64 in time. - cB211.25.48 same as cB211.25.24 but lattice size of L=48 in space and T=96 in time. - cC211.125.40 is a N_f=2+1+1 configuration at heavy pion mass with lattice spacing of approximate a=0.07 fm and lattice size of L=40 in space and T=80 in time.Technical info
The configurations are provided in LIME format (files with extension .lime) and for each we provide a text file (extension .txt) with information about the configurations. The binary data included in the lime files are float numbers in double precision, written with big-endian ordering, and with lattice sites sorted according to the coordinates t, z, y, x where x runs faster. For each lattice site, four SU(3) complex matrices of size 3x3 are given. The four matrices represent the links oriented in the positive t, z, y, x direction, respectively. Therefore each configuration is a tensor of shape (T,Z,Y,X,4,3,3,2) where the "2" runs fastest and represents the real and imaginary part of a complex number.Files
