Description

The Out-of-Work Benefits Dataset is a dataset within the Social Policy Indicators (SPIN) database. SPIN aims to get a better view of the ways in which countries have organized their welfare state by analyzing institutions as manifested in social policy legislation. The OUTWB contains information on several types of income replacement in out-of-work benefits for 39 countries, covering the period 2001-2011. The variables are calculated out of data from the Benefit and Wages project from OECD.
