DAITF-ICRI-2012-Workshop

This ZIP-file contins the set of slides and documents that were presented at the DAITF workshop (and the report) that was held in conjunction with the ICRI 2012 conference in Copenhagen. This workshop brought together 74 data experts from many regions of the world. Finally, this workshop resulted in the clear vision that a global initiative should be established to improve data sharing and reuse which later became the Research Data Alliance. In particular L. Lannom presented the four DAIR layers which were the source of inspiration for a number of RDA working & interest groups and which led to the refinement of the DIgital Object concept. The organisers of this workshop were Francoise Genova, Yannis Ioannidis, Kimmo Koski, Bente Maegaard, Peter Wittenburg, John Wood who all were later engaged in RDA.
