D4.8: Data and Computing Landscape Characteristics and Scientific Communities' Environment & Requirements (final)

D4.8 is the final deliverable in the D4.2, D4.5 series of reports. We present the findings of 21 face-to-face interviews and 16 desktop analyses in the form of a landscape study. Community specific analysis reports are summarised according to generic community features and compared within different scientific disciplines. We evaluate trends across these disciplines too. Specialised topics that arose through our series of interviews are explored. Findings with respect to EUDAT services and the EUDAT organisation are extracted and discussed. We conclude by reflecting on our findings, methodology, and offer advice to future e-Infrastructure projects wishing to undertake similar landscape study activities.
