This first document in a series which collects the scientific results of some of the research visits carried out in the first year of the HPC-Europa3 Transnational Access visitor programme. The report clearly demonstrates the highly multidisciplinary nature of the programme as well as the relevant scientific results that the researchers achieve during their visits.
