Dataset accompanying the publication "Three years of soil moisture observations by a dense cosmic-ray neutron sensing cluster at an agricultural research site in north-east Germany" (ESSD, 2023 subm., https://doi.org/10.5194/essd-2023-19) The publication contains records of cosmic ray neutron sensing (CRNS - stationary, roving), soil moisture (FDR, profile probes, gravimetric, GNSS-R), soil properties (bulk density, organic matter, texture, soil hydraulic parameters), snow parameters (depth, density, areal cover), vegetation / biomass surveys, crops cycles / yields and information on irrigation schemes . An overview of the dataset as well as further technical details are provided in the README.pdf file.

cosmic ray neutron sensing (CRNS - stationary, roving), soil moisture (FDR, profile probes, gravimetric, tensiometers, GNSS reflectometry), hydro-gravimetry, soil properties (bulk density, organic matter, texture, hydraulic parameters), vegetation / biomass surveys (weighing, allometry), snow depth (ultrasonic gauge, manual), snow cover (UAV imagery), snow density (manual)
