Description
This dataset comprises the electroencephalography (EEG) data of 40 participants who participated in the Brain-IHM study. The objective of this study is to investigate feedback perception in the context of Human-Human and Human-Machine conversations. To this end, participants viewed 4 videos: 2 videos presenting the conversation between a human doctor and a human patient and 2 videos of a conversation between a human doctor and a virtual-agent patient. The specific aims of the study are threefold:
- 1. studying feedbacks by comparing congruent vs. incongruent feedbacks
- 2. comparing human-human and human-machine production of feedbacks
- 3. studying the brain basis of feedback perception.
The electroencephalography (EEG) data is raw, 64-channel EEG data recorded using the Biosemi Active-Two system at a sampling rate of 2048Hz. The data is in *.bdf (Biosemi Data Format) form. In addition to the 64-channel scalp data, external electrodes were positioned at the left and right mastoids and vEOG and hEOG were also recorded via exogenous electrodes positioned on the face of the participant.
