EUDAT D9.2: Interim Report of Use of HTTP as a Federation Technology

This report covers the activities performed as part of task 9.1.2 of the EUDAT2020 Project. We present the design choices in the development of a RESTful HTTP API and how such an interface interacts with the underlying Collaborate Data Infrastructure. Based on an agreed set of requirement, and testing and analysis of existing interfaces, we have proposed a generic API which can be implemented in the coming months.
