Sentinel-2 Snow Cover Extent (SCE) for Braila e-shape site of years 2019 and 2020.

Technical info

The final output consists of 20 m resolution raster masks in GeoTIFF format with: 0, No snow; 100, Snow; 205, Cloud; 254, No Data. The SCE maps were validated against in situ data collected by weather stations equipped with snow gauges. The following metrics were computed: the class metrics Producer Accuracy (PA), User Accuracy (UA) and F1-score (F1) and the overall metrics Overall Accuracy (OA) and Macro-F1-score: OA 0.963 Snow PA 0.333 Snow UA 0.500 Snow F1 0.400 No-Snow PA 0.987 No-Snow UA 0.975 No-Snow F1 0.981 Macro-F1 0.690
