Description
Annual Hydroperiod maps utilizing inundation maps generated from Sentinel-2 data.
Methods
The annual hydroperiod is generated from a series of inundation maps (derived from EO data) by interpolating the inundation status per pixel as follows: if a pixel is inundated at two sequential (selected) dates, then it is assumed inundated for n-days, but n/2 days otherwise. The total number of days of inundation is determined by accumulating the pairwise derived results for all assessed date-pairs within a year.Technical info
